My tables are not auto-resizing correctly!
You have to enable f5redrawtable, go to Advanced and click the "f5redrawtable=1" button. Read more on this in the site's "Documentation" section.

Why are my tables cycling focus every time I open a new table or start the engine? How do I get rid of it?
This is PokerStars' f5redrawtable function, TOI has to use it in order to let PS tables auto-resize correctly. You can choose to not use the F5redrawtable function (enable "Don't Redraw" in Advanced). If you want to do that, you'll have to make sure PokerStars opens all tables in the correct size (same size as the tables in your TOI setup). You can do this by creating a custom lay-out in PokerStars: Open 24 tables, open TOI, start the engine (meaning it will resize all tables to exactly the same width and height) and let it build a stack of 24 tables, then save as custom layout in PokerStars. Make sure the new custom layout is used everytime you use TOI.

My tables aren't returning to the stack when I've won a hand or lost at showdown like they should. Why?
You've set the wrong hand history directory in TOI. Make sure you set it to "...\PokerStars\HandHistory"` AND NOT "..\PokerStars\HandHistory\YourUserName".

Why are my tables moving into the grid when I click the "Wait for Big Blind" button in VP$IP mode on non-fast cash game tables?
This is a small problem that can't be fixed (unless you're using TableNinja to auto-click the "Wait for Big Blind" button). The button is located at the position of the check/call button, so TOI thinks you entered a pot. It can easily be sent back to stack by sending a fold hotkey command to that table or left-clicking at the location where the fold button normally is. You can also just leave it in the grid until you've played your first hand.

Why are my tables moving into the grid when the "Wait for Big Blind" button appears in First Action (Smart) mode on non-fast cash game tables?
Same as above...

Why can't I keep playing in the stack when I have a decision in the grid?
First of all, did you disable redrawing (by checking the "Don't Redraw" checkbox or by not adding the f5redrawtable=1 line in PokerStars' user.ini file)? If so, it's super-important that all tables in your custom table layout have exactly the same size (pixel precise). If you didn't disable redrawing, skip this step.
Second, most probable: Please recapture your table background by clicking the "Recapture Bg" button in Advanced. Don't forget to save settings afterwards.
These 2 things are important, even though at first TOI only looks if the betslider is visbile on the top stack table. After that, if no betslider visbile, TOI will also do a pixelsearch to determine if there is perhaps a Wait for BB/Post BB/Sit Out situation (non-fast cash game tables) or an all-in situation where you can either fold or call (no betslider visible). If both are negative, TOI will look for another table in the stack to bring to front (it searches for the first table in the stack that has a betslider visible). Also make sure you haven't accidentally checked "Stack-Scan Off" in Advanced (checkbox should be disabled).

Why aren't my tables moving into the grid?
Please check if slot 1 isn't located at the same position of the stack. Try to visualize and look if you can see the "Slot 1" label. If not, it's probably underneath the stack (so at exactly the same position), that's why tables aren't moving.

Why is my Grid instantly filled up with tables that shouldn't be there when I start the TOI Engine?
This is a First Action mode problem, you've either changed your table background since TOI table setup or you've manually resized your tables. Please recapture your table background by clicking the "Recapture Bg" button in Advanced. Don't forget to save settings afterwards!

Why are tables timing out all the time when I use TOI?
Please make sure you haven't accidentally set extra slots outside your visible range that you didn't know of. If that is not the problem, make sure you have enabled "Popup table whenever user action is required" in PokerStars' Options > Advanced Multi-Table Options menu.

I want to use First Action mode but I'm having system performance issues, what should I do?
If you're experiencing system performance issues, the first thing you should try is increasing the TOI Engine Delay (Advanced). This results in TOI demanding less from your CPU, but reacting slower. Then you should consider turning off Windows Aero (if you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7), that will speed up TOI's performance significantly. Also make sure you've enabled First Action Smart mode (which demands less from your CPU than the regular First Action mode). If these things won't help, I'm afraid you'll have to enable one of the other modes. Read more on TOI modes in the site's "Documentation" section.

Why are (some of) my tables not returning to the stack when I fold?
There might be a delay problem, try to increase the Hotkey Delay slider value in Advanced. Remember: If you're using keyboard hotkeys to send action commands, you might have to activate "Send To Active" in Options. This sends the action to the active table instead of the table the mouse cursor is pointing at.

The table to act didn't pop up, neither in the stack nor in the grid, what's wrong?
In PokerStars' lobby, go to Options > Advanced Multi-Table Options. Make sure "Pop-up table whenever user action is required" is enabled.

Why am I getting a "Trial Violation" error when I try to play a $1.10 or $1.20 sit 'n go tournament with the trial version?
The buy-in has to be visible at the table's title bar, your table size is so small that there isn't room for it. I'm sorry, but this is the only way I can protect the trial. You either have to increase your table size or decrease your Windows title bar font size. This problem doesn't exist in cash games (nor in the full version obviously).

I've set everything right, but nothing happends. Why is there is no table movement?
If you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, make sure you are running TOI as Administrator.

I can't get f5redrawtable to work!
If TOI's automated f5redrawtable function doesn't work, you have to edit the user.ini file (located in the PokerStars settings folder) yourself. Remember: It could be a hidden file. Make sure PokerStars is closed and add this line to the [Options] section: f5redrawtable=1

Can I disable all automatic movement and use TOI as a manual movement application?
Yes. You have to follow these steps: Enable "External Hotkeys" in Options, enable "Keep Won In Grid" in Advanced, set the fold hotkey to whatever your bring back to stack key should be, set the bet/raise hotkey to whatever your bring to grid key should be. Make sure you've set different hotkeys for folding/checking/calling/betting/raising in your external hotkey application and you're good to go.

Can I keep using TableNinja's hotkeys alongside TOI?
Yes. Enable "External Hotkeys" in TOI if you want to use another program/script to execute your hotkeys. You still have to set the same hotkeys in TOI's Options tab so that TOI will know when to move tables. You can even set multiple bet/raise hotkeys (up to 8) in TOI if you've set different hotkeys for different betsizes in TableNinja.

Tables are moved when I use external hotkeys, but the fold/check/call/bet/raise commands are not being sent to the tables. Why?
This is solved by increasing the "Hotkey Delay" in Advanced. This delay is needed prior to moving the tables in order for the command to properly execute first.

Can I install a new TOI update on top of an old version? Will my old settings be preserved?
Yes and yes.

Can I use TOI as a hotkey application only as well (and disable all other functionalities)?
Yes, the hotkeys also work when the TOI engine is not running. You can even use the TOI trial as a hotkey application (only grid tables are checked for trial buy-in violations).

Can I set individual widths & heights for the tables in my setup?
No. In earlier beta versions it was possible to assign individual Ws & Hs, but the constant resizing using PokerStars built-in redrawing function was not stable/fast enough to keep this option in the end-version. Trust me, it's better this way.

Is TOI allowed by PokerStars?
Yes it is. Click here to see TOI on PokerStars' list of allowed software.
